I have been attending the Calvin college january series (via remote location!) this month. there have been some excellent speakers and topics. my favorite two so far being Burl Cain, a Louisiana prison warden and Arthur Brooks. there are still two more weeks of topics and some that are more interesting than others. I am curious about listening to the wikipedia guy tomorrow.

but anyway today was my turn to bring food in for the attendees. you know that means you are supposed to bake. ok. well I had found this great boxed kit to make pumpkin bread so we stopped in a picked it up at cvs last night (2.99 an it makes two loaves). I decided to cook it in a bundt cake pan though because surely anything cooked in a bundt cake pan will look fancier than loaves of bread. it was a hit if I do say so myself. I had to stop myself from telling people it was a box mix. so I took a picture of it because it looked and tasted so yummy.
