when we first moved here I was terribly confused about the lack of “real” mailboxes. I had never lived anywhere where the mailman actually walked the streets and put the mail in the box on the house. it still seems so strange in some ways that they daily walk the streets instead of the seemingly easier than Eddie the mailman had it in georgia, just driving and stuffing boxes. but then again maybe the guys out here have it better since the weather is usually so nice.
my only problem is how small my mailbox is. I could easily fill more than one of these.

You are a city girl now! My 1952 rambler in Minneapolis had a slot that made the mail land in the bottom of the coat closet.
